The first day

When we attended the Conference we spent the morning listening to the writer of "Eat, Pray, Love," Elizabeth Gilbert.

The Conference itself was filled with workshops and big exhibit floor that housed publishers, database companies, digital technology, etc. Walking around the exhibit floor was so easily overwhelming especially when everyone wanted to see if you were worth their time.

During the middle of the day Ava presented to a room of nearly 50-100 people. She was in the company of another woman who spoke on her experience with the Library of Congress. Ava gave her presentation on map cataloging.
