Boston Arrival

The Boston ALA Conference lasted from January 15-19th, 2010. Ava Iuliano, Ashley Fisher and I all traveled together to attend the Conference.
Unfortunately we did not attend the Friday presentations but we received a catalog on Saturday morning of all the events.

Ava and I were primarily interested in Special and Academic Libraries. We both looked for reference sessions and any other related sessions. Ava was especially interested in cataloging sessions and I attended many guest speakers.

Ashley was primarily interested in Youth Services. She attended many sessions of focused on librarianship and children's literature.



We stayed at the Omni Parker Hotel, which was very regal. The lobby of the hotel has gold elevator doors and had good service. We were fortunate to stay in such a convenient location, a bus stopped right in front of our hotel to take us to the conference building each day. This service was paid for by GALE.
